  • 2 years as Account Executive at Logix Communications (selling Integrated voice and data along with PBX CPE). My introduction in Telecom including voice, data, and equipment which provided a broad foundation of knowledge.
  • 1 year Account Executive at ConnectSouth (selling VPN solutions). This was really helpful in understanding and selling multisite networks
  • 3 years at McLeodUSA (I had 2 titles…Sales Engineer and then Technical Trainer). I was used in multiple markets as a Sales Engineer and then transitioned into the training department training sales, provisioning, and customer service. Communication Skills were needed especially in training different groups with different knowledge base and purpose.
  • 15 years at SBC/ATT (Technical Sales Consultant/Application Sales Consultant). Supported and sold a broad range of voice, data, security, and CPE. Again a broad knowledge base helps in understanding the big picture ran than a small window.

What makes you awesome at your job: I really enjoy helping customers and although it doesn’t always work this way I prefer the big picture and total solution.
